Technicians' overview

TPC imageTechnicians in schools and colleges play a vital role in science education. The Twenty First Century Science suite of courses involves plenty of practical work, and some of this is innovative.

Planning

Here are technicians' advance planning sheets.

Experiments with amendments or supplementary information

After the OUP C21 publications went to print, some issues with experiments and sourcing apparatus either developed or were discovered in all courses. See
Supplementary information about C21 experiments

If you discover any difficulties not mentioned on our website, please email Peter Campbell who will either resolve the issue or forward it to CLEAPSS. We are constantly updating these pages so do keep watching them.

If you have problems with C21 software from OUP, here's how to contact them OUP software support

Bespoke technician training courses

We may be able to arrange a Twenty First Century Science trainer for local training events, e.g. for a cluster of C21 schools. For further information, including costs, contact the UYSEG C21 office. UYSEG are organising courses on behalf of the project team at the Nuffield Curriculum Centre and the University of York. Email uyseg-c21@york.ac.uk or telephone 01904 434701.
