Technicians share your ideas and problems
There is a free email discussion group for all school and college lab technicians to share problems and information. It is not a Twenty First Century Science list - it’s for everyone. There are about 800 members. It is run by Robin & Maz from Hull, and is hosted by the University of Central Lancashire.

How it works
If you have a technical problem or tip, you email your message to the address of the group. This ‘address’ then sends your message to all the technicians on its subscription list. When the other technicians then go into their emails, they see your message. If they choose to reply, they email their message to you or back to the discussion group to be circulated.
You can set the software to send you messages as they come in, or a digest at the end of the week.
