The pilot Twenty First Century Science courses were popular at Haggerston, inspiring teachers and students. In this video they give us their opinions on the strengths and weaknesses of the courses, and consider whether this is the way forward for the future. (Yes it is! Sheila Curtis the Head of Science reports that they are enthusiastically continuing.)

The video programme includes:

  • A look at why the Twenty First Century Science pilot GCSE was commissioned
  • An evaluation of its success
  • A discussion about the importance of scientific literacy today (see the GCSE Science course).
