RSC Bill Bryson competition
The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) are running a science communication competition. The theme for this year's competition is 'Science and Sport'.
Might your students be interested?
RSC say that entries can focus on anything related to how science supports the world of sport - from methods used in drug testing, to enhanced sportswear or equipment, to specialised training techniques.
All formats will be accepted, for example:
* posters
* PowerPoint® presentations
* school magazine articles
* information leaflets
* work from a science or after-school club.
Cash prizes will be awarded by RSC to the winning entries.
Closing date is 31st May 2008.
