What resources other than the textbooks are required to teach Twenty First Century Science?

The resources are published by OUP. See the OUP website

Resources from OUP include the teacher and technician packs. These has been trialled by pilot teachers and include:
- suggested scheme of work lesson plans
- student activities and teacher/technician guidance
- answers to textbook questions
- paper end of module tests

This is all available in Word format, so you can customise.
There are also optional student workbooks which build up a record of key concepts covered in the modules.

The schemes of work for GCSE Science and GCSE Additional Applied Science also refer to electronic resources, again published by OUP. Obviously there is a cost implication here. You may decide that you have alternative ICT materials which you'd prefer to continue using, and build these into your scheme of work rather than the OUP resources. However, what OUP produce has received very positive feedback from pilot teachers.

Your local OUP rep will be able to show you some of the resources, either by visiting your school, or at one of the OCR training days. See OCR and OUP.
