Assessment is the responsibility of OCR. See the link on the right to the OCR website.

In Twenty First Century Science, the guiding principle for assessment is that the form of assessment should have a positive influence on the teaching and learning.

The specifications have been developed by OCR in partnership with the project team.

The specifications are available on the OCR website. You will also find coursework guidance, past papers and mark schemes there.

Coursework note

Many teachers ask what assistance with coursework they may give candidates. There is a Joint Council for Qualifications publication Instructions for conducting coursework/ portfolios with advice on this.

Section 4 is called "Revision, Re-Drafting and Interim Review of Work".
