What do you recommend as a year plan for teaching the separate (triple) sciences?

We recommend teaching GCSE Science and GCSE Additional Science throughout years 10 and 11, incorporating any relevant parts of module 7 along the way.

This gives students a variety of conceptual demands and learning approaches throughout their two years. The suggested teaching order for modules varies for Biology, Chemistry and Physics, but in each case the external assessment pattern would be:

Y10: Unit 4 (coursework)

Y11: Unit 1 (e.g. B1, B2, B3) in January,
Unit 2 (e.g. B4, B5, B6) and Unit 3 (B7 + Ideas in Context) in June

You would probably want to set internal exams in Y10, based on OCR exam papers.
The OUP module 7 maps for B7, C7, and P7 show exactly how you can incorporate parts of module 7 throughout earlier modules.
